One of these was Bank South Pacific, which began playing its role in the drive in late September at the Waigani Banking Centre, and this was followed on October 2 at the company's head office in downtown Port Moresby.

"So far, over 50 BSP staff have put up their hands to donate blood in an attempt to address the ongoing shortage of blood in our hospitals around the country," BSP said.

The blood bank team is led by Nurse Erasi Iowa, and her team was scheduled to visit staff at Ravalien Haus, Harbour City, yesterday and will complete the drive at Boroko Banking Centre today.
