BSP sponsors HR management conference

BANK South Pacific has contributed K30, 000 toward the Papua New Guinea Human Resources Institute's annual national conference.

Held in Port Moresby between May 16 and 18, the PNGHRI annual national conference is an opportunity for all HR practitioners to share skills and knowledge and improve the management of people.
 
"I am pleased to say that BSP recognises human resource management [as] a key area of development for the country and BSP," BSP general manager human resources Hari Rabura said.
 
"Our continued sponsorship places emphasis on the organisation's drive to invest in professional development.
 
"We acknowledge that with skilled HR resources, people management is improved in an organisation, with increased productivity and a happy workforce that contributes meaningfully to the communities that we operate in."
 
PNGHRI deputy president Naomi Kedea was present to receive the sponsorship and thanked BSP for its support of this year's conference.
