Total production at Way Linggo of 5055 ounces of gold in the June quarter represented a 50% increase from the March 2017 quarter and a 183% increase over the December 2016 quarter.

The open cut delivered 16,938 tonnes of ore mined at a grade of about 7.5 grams per tonne gold during the period.

Kingsrose said RC drilling was currently under way to identify extensions to the Way Linggo resource.

Deed administrator Michael Ryan said the results were pleasing and provided evidence that the strategy to return Way Linggo to profitability was working.

"In addition to these production scenarios, there is substantial regional exploration potential at the Way Linggo Project and we intend to address this opportunity in coming months," Ryan said.
