The scholarship is open to all WING members and the aim of it is to increase the visibility of women working in the geothermal industry - and the work that they do.

The organisation says the scholarship offers the opportunity to present current work to the wider geothermal community and the winner will have an all-expenses paid trip (flights, transfers, accommodation and registration) to New Zealand to present a paper at the New Zealand Geothermal Workshop.

The Workshop will be held from November 14 to 16 at the Wairakei Resort, Taupo, North Island.

Applicants need to forward a 300-work abstract to info@womeningeothermal.com by June 25.
